
Claire Weetman has been commissioned by Liverpool Culture Company to work with seven schools in the city to celebrate the city’s 800th birthday with the Coming of Age project. This will explore Liverpool’s rich heritage through creative, collaborative teaching and learning across the curriculum
Claire will work on Life's Rich Tapestry with young artists from seven Liverpool Schools to take you on a trip back in time in the yellow submarine. See 800 years of Liverpool history on a fantastic voyage of discovery. This will be a Bayeux Tapestry for the 21st Century.

- Blessed Sacrament Infant & Junior School
The resulting printed art work will feature work from hundreds of children and will be exhibited at Breeze Inn Community Centre, Cedar Road Methodist Church, Walton Vale in June and July 2007.
