Community, Faith and Fairtrade

In the run up to Fairtrade fortnight in 2007 a number of workshops were held with a range of multi-faith community groups across Merseyside, project managed by Claire Weetman for Liverpool World Centre and Envart and sponsored by Liverpool Culture Company.

The exhibition at World Museum Liverpool displays the colourful Fairtrade statement flags created by the communities of Merseyside, offers information about Liverpool as a Fairtrade city and allows visitors to the exhibition to contribute to the display at a workshop on Saturday 3 March 2007

North West Euro MP Sajjad Karim, Liberal Democrat spokesperson on International Trade, celebrated the end of Fair Trade Fortnight by visiting the Community, Faith and Fairtrade project.
