Liverpool International Artists
Novas Contemporary Urban Centre
Greenland Street, Liverpool
20 September - 15 November 2008
A British Art and Design Association project inspired and curated by the Liverpool born artist Terry Duffy. The exhibition comprises an eclectic mix of painting, photography, sculpture, film and installation and tackles themes including urban cultural diversity, homelessness, alienation, sexuality as well as love, passion and spirituality.
In her largest drawing to date, Claire Weetman has worked across four Perspex panels, each eight foot high. The drawing, which began at the private view, has been produced during the exhibition, responding to the movement of people through the gallery space - a continuous theme in Claire’s work over the past two years.

Visitors to the exhibition can continue to see the drawing take shape over the final weeks of this show, as their own silhouettes are drawn onto the transparent surface, and the layered panels burst with vital marks.
