St Helens Artist of the Year Award

Claire has been presented with this award for demonstrating a high level of activity in the cultural community of her resident borough of St Helens and beyond in the last 12 months.

The award, handcrafted by The World of Glass, was presented at a ceremony at St Augustine's Specialist School for the Visual Arts, where the artistic talents of young people from across St Helens were recognised.

The Judges were particularly impressed with Claire's huge breadth of work and her dedication to developing art activities for all.

As part of the award, Claire will carry out a residency at St Augustine's later in the year.
