Six Artists from St Helens

To celebrate the diamond anniversary of town twinning between St Helens and Stuttgart, six artists resident in the town were invited to exhibit at Stuttgart Rathaus.

David Burns, Paul Cousins, Wayne Robinson, Alan Smith, David Stanley and Claire Weetman travelled to Stuttgart in August to attend the private view event and to share in the 60 year anniversary celebrations.

At the private view, Claire Weetman produced a new drawing onto glass, titled 'Wilkommen am Rathaus', and showed a selection of figure study drawings and photographs documenting previous installations.
